N.E.R.D. Star Shay Haley Ties The Knot With Sean Taylor’s Ex-Girlfriend

Nov 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jackie Mofett who is best known as the longtime girlfriend of former Washington Redskins free safety Sean Taylor who was murdered in 2007, has tied the knot with musician Shay Haley. A reputed news website has reported that the couple who have been dating for the past some time, exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Miami over the weekend. Sources have revealed that wedding ceremony in which the N.E.R.D frontman tied the knot with his lady love was a private affair which was attended only by the friends and family of the couple on Saturday evening.
Although intrinsic details of the wedding ceremony has not been forthcoming as yet, reports have indicated that Shay Haley’s bandmate and lead singer of the funk rock band Pharrell Williams was the best man at the marital nuptials and after the wedding was solemnized he also went on to rock the dance floor with the blushing bride. The other celebrities who were present to offer their best wishes to the newly-weds included R&B star Chris Brown who graced the event and reportedly also gave a scintillating performance to the utter delight of the guests as well as the newly-married couple.
The bright new chapter in actor Andy Garcia niece Jackie Mofett’s life comes almost three years since the horrifying incident which took place on November 27, 2007 in which a group of thieves intruded the Florida home that she shared with her the then boyfriend Sean Taylor. In the incident, the 24-year-old former Washington Redskins player received critical gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries later in a medical facility.
