Los Angeles, May 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Media reports suggest that singer Nelly is broke because he has spent his money on steroids, gambling and drugs. The reports followed a tweet by Nelly’s ex-manager Slim.

Slim was not happy that Nelly has turned down an offer to perform at a basketball game. The decision not to perform at the said game got Slim to tweet that the singer needs the money. The tweet revealed that the “Country Grammar” hit maker is close to going completely broke because he has spent his entire fortune on his girlfriend, Ashanti, drugs, steroids and gambling. The tweet did not go down well with the singer.

Nelly for a start made it clear that Slim has never been his manager before. According to Nelly, Slim was a promoter that he worked with in the past. He also denied Slim’s claim that he uses drugs and steroids tweeting that, “don’t nothing go in this body but fish, chicken, turkey, protein, ROZAY, ciroc remy and Budweiser!!”

On the claim that he is few dollars away from having his home foreclosed, Nelly tweeted that, “Ino some hoping that 4closure statement is tru but I’m sorry “EPIC FAIL”"! anytime any1 n STL wanna match deeds or pinkslips HOLLA.”
