Dec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris shared his unvarnished opinions about actor Eric Braeden on a social networking site after the latter canceled his appearance on “How I Met Your Mother”. Neil Patrick Harris called the Eric Braeden a “D-bag” in his social networking site profile. Both the actors engaged themselves in a war of words after “The Young and the Restless” actor replied to Neil Patrick Harris’ post on Twitter.

Neil Patrick Harris took to Twitter to express his anger and disappointment on Eric Braeden as he refused to do a cameo on “How I Met Your Mother” right at the last moment. Eric Braeden, reportedly, said that his role was kind of unsubstantial and hence he would not like to do the cameo. Neil Patrick Harris wrote in the homepage of his social networking site that the soap star bailed from his role just a night before he was scheduled to do the cameo as he felt the part was not ’substantial’ enough. The actor added that the show officials have recast actor Ray Wise, who can make any role “substantial”. The “Spider-Man: The New Animated Series” actor also added that he is excited to welcome Ray Wise to the “How I Met Your Mother” family.

Eric Braeden responded to Neil Patrick Harris’ Tweet and surely proved that the actor did not take the latter’s comments lightly. He said that Neil Patrick Harris needs to be “spanked” for speaking such words against him. The Daytime Emmy Award winner in one of his interviews told a reputed media source that Neil Patrick Harris’ words are inappropriate and added that he does not know the actor well. On the other hand, media outlets reported that Neil Patrick Harris apologized for his comments and wrote that he feels bad for his “D-bag” comment.
