Aug 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Neil Patrick Harris of the “How I Met Your Mother” fame is all set to welcome his twins this fall along with his partner David Burtka. The couple is expecting the twins from a surrogate this October. The news was confirmed to media sources by the star himself who posted the news on his Twitter account. Since the disclosure of the news, the couple has been congratulated by many other stars on the social networking site, Twitter.

An excited Neil Patrick Harris mentioned in his Twitter post that he and David Burtka are expecting their twins sometimes this fall and added that they are “super excited/nervous/thrilled” with the whole new turn that their life will take with the coming of the twins. The star said that he would like the media to respect their privacy. However, it seems that the paparazzi are in no mood to allow Neil Patrick Harris the much asked privacy as of now. Just after the actor declared the news of his impending fatherhood, photographs of the couple enjoying themselves at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim on Saturday evening spread over the web.

Apart from media sources, “So You Think You Can Dance” star Adam Shankman also congratulated the couple via Twitter. The dancer, choreographer seemed excited about the news and wrote “guess what babies are gonna learn how to dance and direct from their uncle Adam?” Although the twins are the first for Neil Patrick Harris, some media sources claim that David Burtka has a previous experience with twins. He had helped to raise twins during his relationship with his previous boyfriend. However, he was not a primary parent to them at that time.
