In a career spanning five films, Neil Nitin Mukesh has chiefly been portrayed as an action hero on screen. It is strange that in an era when newbies in Bollywood want to play it safe by sticking to simple romantic roles, Neil Nitin Mukesh has opted to project himself as a rough and tough guy. In fact, he had delayed his debut in the Hindi film industry because the initial projects being offered to him mostly belonged to the romantic genre. Neil Nitin Mukesh found Johnny Gaddaar thrilling and though the film may not have been a commercial success, it did help him to draw the attention of producers and directors in Bollywood. And since then his fans have never seen Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the traditional romantic hero that Bollywood films abound in.

In a statement to the media, Neil Nitin Mukesh says that he is very happy about the fact that directors of his earlier films are still interested to work with him. This means that a commercial success does not much matter much in Bollywood these days and it is this aspect that inspires him to be a part of such cinema which will draw the attention of people rather than only drawing in the moolahs. Failure surely does not affect this young Bollywood actor, just like he will never let the success he achieves after the failure get on his head.

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s next release is a Sudhir Mishra film Tera Kya Hoga Johnny which had been completed two years back but had to be stalled due to unforeseen circumstances.
