Neeson to star in Unknown White Male?

Aug 6 (IBNS) Liam Neeson is back in action. The actor is negotiating with the producers of Unknown White Male, the Dark Castle thriller from Warner Bros, for the lead role.

The film will be directed by Juame Collet-Serra and produced by Joel Silver along with Leonard Goldberg. Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell, it was reported by variety.com.

Cornwell wrote the script, which is based on the Didier Van Cauwelaert novel “Out of My Head.”

The film’s production is scheduled to start in January and Neeson will play the role of a doctor, who goes to Berlin for a medical conference but meets with a car accident. He then slips into coma and when he awakens from coma, he finds that not only doesn’t his wife recognize him; she is living with another man who has assumed his identity.

Neeson’s last film was Pierre Morel-directed sleeper hit Taken. He will start shooting for Unknown White Male after finishing his role of Hannibal Smith in Fox’s big-screen version of The A-Team. Neeson has been a surprise success in Pierre Morel action thriller Taken. He is playing Zeus in Warner Bros. and Legendary’s remake of Clash of the Titans.x

Collet-Serra, who just directed “Orphan” for Dark Castle, will start shooting the film in January in Berlin.

Neeson next stars in “Chloe,” the thriller from Atom Egoyan set to premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
