loserMay 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Another NBC reality show “Biggest Loser” is on its way to the final episode. With the last episode of season 9 scheduled to go on air on the 25th of this month, this will be the 18th week of “Biggest Loser” this season. In the last episode four contestants are left to fight it out for the prize amount of $250,000. The final four are Ashley Johnston, Daris George, Koli Palu and Michael Ventrella.

In the finale, the contestants are posed with an even tougher challenge than the one that they were given in the episode prior to the 25th May finale. All four contestants had to run the marathon barefoot in the 18th week’s episode. As the viewers witnessed on television, Michael Ventrella and Ashley Johnston, 30 and 27 years of age respectively, were partners in the marathon. While Koli Palu had decided to acquire proper training from a martial arts expert. He even shifted to Las Vegas for the purpose. Daris George, the youngest among them, only at 25 years of age was the quickest. He was even successful in breaking the record of Tara who was the quickest during last season’s “Biggest Loser”.

At the end of the episode, when it was time for the weights to be taken, it was revealed that surprisingly it was Daris George, the fastest among them who had actually gained weight. While Michael Ventrella and Ashley Johnston lose 23 and 15 pounds each and Koli Palu also becomes lighter by 13 pounds, Daris George gains 2 more pounds! The episode will go on air on the 25th this month and will be broadcast for a span of two hours on Tuesday night.
