Dec 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the viewers who thoroughly loved watching the first season of the NBC reality series “The Sing-Off,” had something to look forward to on Monday night when the second season of the smash hit show made its debut on the network. Given the huge amount of success that the last season of the singing competition that features a cappella groups, had managed to attain, it was well expected that the latest edition would also be successful in grabbing many eye-balls. No prizes for guessing that the pilot episode of the second season was able to attract huge viewership with the ardent followers of the show eagerly waiting to see how the show unfolds in the upcoming episodes.

With Nick Lachey returning as the host of the reality show, the rest of the cast also remains more or less the same with Ben Folds, Nicole Scherzinger and Shawn Stockman making a comeback as the judges of the series. However, the latest edition of “The Sing-Off” comes with its share of changes as this time, ten groups would be vying against each other instead of eight while the total number of episodes that would be aired has been increased from four to five this season.

The second season premiere episode provided a glimpse of exactly what is in store for the viewers in the upcoming episodes as all the groups gave their best shot to impress the judges and the viewers alike with most of them delivering a stunning performance. However, for the group Pitch Slapped, their dream of winning the reality show came to a halting end as they were eliminated in the pilot episode itself.
