Jan 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the hullabaloo at NBC following the re-allotment of the time slots seemed to have momentarily died down with the disappearance of Conan O’Brien, but things seem to have come back to square one, thanks to the rest who are present in the channel. Only a few days back, it was the turn of the three eminent hosts, Jimmy Kimmel, Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno. All three of them embarked in a verbal war against each other, the fight being started off by none other than Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel, with Oprah Winfrey entering the fray some time later.
The story started off with Jimmy Kimmel impersonating Jay Leno on his show, following which he ended up being invited as the guest in the “Jay Leno Show.” For a lion’s share of the duration of the show, Jay Leno got badgered by the guest, who embarked in a long tirade regarding his possible takeover of the “The Tonight Show”. The show has been recently abandoned by Conan O’ Brien.
Following the incident, Jay Leno went on to the Oprah Winfrey Show, where he gave a blow by blow account of what he had experienced in the show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. In the “Oprah Winfrey Show,” he recounted that he had been positively “sucker-punched” by the host of the show. That, however, was not the end of the whole issue. On Thursday, Jimmy Kimmel again embarked in another mockery of Jay Leno on his show, claiming that the latter had gone to the “Oprah Winfrey Show” simply because he had been given the show back.
