conanLos Angeles, Jan 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The bitter arguments between the officials of NBC and show host Conan O’Brien have created a lot of controversies for the last few days. It appears that these debates and discussions will not end until both settle down the deal that Conan O’Brien would be offered to depart from the show. As per the reports, Conan O’Brien, who was reportedly offered $40 million for departing from the show, has demanded more money for his staffs, who would be unemployed once he quits this show.

According to the reports, many of his staffs have migrated from New York to assist him in Los Angeles and so he needs more money to support them, after leaving the show. NBC in a recent statement said that Conan O’Brien was not forced to quit the show. It was his decision to end his term with the network when more than two years of his contract is due. Therefore, the network is not responsible for the job loss of around two hundred staff members.

Though NBC has not asked Conan O’Brien to leave the show, it has agreed to pay money for his staffs and considers the new demand made by the host to be nothing but a ‘PR ploy’. As per the reports, the network has decided to accept the demand of Conan O’Brien as the continued battle between them is affecting the image of the network. It has been reported that the departure of Conan O’Brien from the show would stop him from criticizing the network and abide by some intellectual property rights of the channel.
