A new cast member for the hit show ‘True Blood’ has been announced, and this Russian-American actress and model has already turns a few heads with another new project- she will be the July cover-girl for Playboy Magazine, and will be featured in an 8 page editorial inside the pages as well.

Natasha Alam will be joining the cast of ‘True Blood’ during it’s third season as a character known by the name ‘Yvetta’. Yvetta is a new dancer at Fangtasia, a vampire dance club owned by Eric (played by Alexander Skarsgard) and will also be the vampire-owner’s new love interest.

Although she was shy at first, Alam quickly got over her fears, and even had to do a nude scene with Alexander Skarsgard. This was a first for the actress, since she had never done nudity before, however, she managed to relax into the role. She claims that although she is featured in Playboy, the scene did make her pause for a minute.

“I’d never done nudity. I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it. [Then] here comes Alexander Skarsgard. He drops his robe, and he’s not wearing a sock — nothing. He’s just totally out there, walking around as if nothing’s going on. I was like, ‘If he can do it, I can do it.’”
