Natalie Portman: Pregnant Star Is Flattered But Finds It Bit Odd Too

and already has received raved reviews from the critics for the performance. But while she is cool with the adulation that she receives for her acting, she is still finding it a bit hard to come in terms with strangers congratulating her for her pregnancy.
Portman is expecting her first child with fiancé Benjamine Millepied, but finds it “weird” yet “nice” that people walking on the street, total strangers going up to her and wishing her luck for her child. The 29-year old actress goes on to state that though the interaction is very positive with the strangers yet it feels kind of odd for her.
She goes on to reveal that the reason behind feeling odd about it is because being pregnant is quite a private matter, but it seems like everyone knows about it. For Portman while this pregnancy is not the only first time experience, she is also now dealing with strangers knowing so much about her private life.
It’s not very long ago that Natalie went public about her pregnancy; it was only few weeks’ back on December 27, 2010 that she revealed it. It was the same date that Portman’s representative said that Millepied and Natalie are engaged. But the actress is overwhelmed by the good wishes that strangers give her for her pregnancy.
