Natalie Portman Pens Raunchy Comedy

Nov 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Natalie Portman has proved that she is much more than just a pretty face with a smoking hot body by co-writing a raunchy comedy called ‘BYO’. BYO stands for ‘Bring Your Own’ and the story deals with a bunch of single girls who decide to throw a party where each of them bring an eligible bachelor with them. The script has been penned by the ‘Black Swan’ star and her college friend Laura Moses. Reports suggest that the talented actress is presently knocking doors to turn her idea into a reality.
Those who have read the script have found it similar to the film ‘Superbad’ that stars Michael Cera. The insiders have, however, added that the film is from a female’s point of view and it has already started a buzz in Hollywood. Some reports indicate that Anne Hathaway has shown interest in playing the second lead in the film. Natalie Portman is, reportedly, quite determined to turn the project into a reality. Insiders have revealed that if she does not find a studio she might make it an independent venture and in case she finds one she will wants to produce and star in the film.
Natalie Portman has recently been in the news for her upcoming release Black Swan where she plays the role of a disturbed ballerina. The film received a great response in September at the Venice Film Festival this year and is one of the most anticipated films to be released towards the end of this year. The film has also been in the news for the explicit lesbian scenes.
