Natalie Portman denies that she is going to play the lead in Snow White movie

natalier Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood actress Natalie Portman was in negotiations to feature in the movie titled Brothers Grimm: Snow White that will be directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, according to Perez Hilton.

However the representatives of the actress stated that there was absolutely no truth in those reports and this trend in reporting false stories seems to running the gossip website. They were really miffed with the fact that Perez Hilton reported the story, without checking out the facts.

The actress is of Israeli-American origin and was born as Natalie Hershlag on June 9, 1981. She first gained recognition in the acting world when she starred in Leon, an action-packed movie made in France in 1994.

The actress also starred in leading roles in movies such as Beautiful Girls and Anywhere But Here. She also featured as Padme Amidala in Star Wars. She got admitted into Harvard University in 1999 at the same time when she was working on Star Wars.

The actress opened The Seagull, in the New York Public Theatre nine years ago. The director of the production was Anton Chekhov and famous names such as Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, etc. all featured in the movie.

She has been nominated as best supporting actress for the Academy and the Golden Globe awards.
