Natalie Cole to reveal all about her kidney transplant op in memoir
July 20th, 2010 - 5:39 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 20 (ANI): Singer Natalie Cole is all geared up to reveal about her successful kidney transplant operation in an upcoming memoir.
The Grammy Award-winning jazz singer will be teaming up with author David Ritz to pen memoirs, for a new book, entitled ‘Love Brought Me Back’, reports the Daily Express.
The 60 year old, who has struggled with kidney disease, will chronicle the transplant that saved her life on 20 May 2009.
She will also tell about the death of her sister Cookie, which tragically occurred the very day she had the operation and will also share memories of her father, late crooner Nat ‘King’ Cole, in the memoir.
The book is due to hit shelves in November (10). (ANI)
