Natalie Cassidy calls off engagement
May 26th, 2011 - 8:52 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Natalie Cassidy has called off her engagement to Adam Cottrell just days after reports that the two were involved in a brawl. Adam was reportedly arrested after the scuffle on suspicion of assault. He has since been charged with assault.
New Magazine says the brawl ensued on Sunday afternoon after a scuffle between the two escalated. A source told the magazine that the former EastEnders star called in the police after the fight and she made sure she was staying well clear of Adam until the police got to the scene.
The magazine stated that Natalie decided to end the relationship after the scuffle. The source was quoted as saying, “At the moment she doesn’t want anything to do with Adam and thinks it best if they have some time apart.”
According to the report, Adam and Natalie have been having a difficult time in their relationship.
Adam is scheduled to appear before a magistrate next week. He is reportedly staying with his friends and has decided to stay out of the public eyes until he has made his appearance in court. Natalie is also said to be “withdrawn” after the incident.
