London, February 24 (ANI): A Welsh artist has immortalised supermodel Naomi Campbell by drawing her in leather artwork.
Master carver Mark Evans created ‘Skin Deep’, a portrait of the catwalk queen, into a leather canvas using knives and scalpels.
The pair joined forces for the star’s Fashion for Relief 2010 event, with the piece fetching 1.4 million pounds at auction.
‘I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has generously donated their time and effort to make Fashion for Relief happen,’ The Telegraph quoted Naomi as saying.
Other items grabbed by bidders also included a dress by the late fashion guru Alexander McQueen, Lotus cars, jewellery by designer Stephen Webster and an outfit from Vivienne Westwood. (ANI)
