August 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Acclaimed actress and director Nandita Das and her husband Subodh Maskara, recently welcomed a baby boy. This Wednesday at 10:45 am Nandita Das gave birth to a baby boy in a city hospital. Nandita’s husband Subodh Maskara informed the media about this good news. Quite understandably, their families were very happy and in a mood for some rejoicing.

Subodh added that they have not decided on a name and still basking in the delight of parenthood. He said that the couple has been shopping for the expected child for some time now. They also revealed that they had no specific preference for a boy or a girl and just wanted the baby to be healthy.

Subodh and Nandita fell in love at the first sight after the two were introduced by actors Milind Soman and Shahana Goswami. Let’s just wish all the best for the new parents and hope they do an amazing job of parenting their son!
