Nov 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is surely a big achievement for Nancy O’Dell for the Access Hollywood anchor is about to step into Mary Hart’s shoes very soon as she gets to host ‘Entertainment Tonight’. Linda Bell Blue, the executive producer of the show announced that they were in absolute denial when Mary Hart announced that she wants to quit Entertainment Tonight after the end of this season. She added that on hearing this they had a tough time thinking of who could be the next most appropriate face for the show. It was then that they thought of Nancy O’Dell as the most suitable candidate. The unit that that it was the one and only Nancy O’Dell who could do full justice to the show by being an appropriate partner to the show’s co-host Mark Steines.

Nancy O’Dell has hosted the Access Hollywood show for thirteen years. She completed the show last December and since then has been working as a correspondent on the Today Show and Dateline. She will be joining Entertainment Tonight in the new year when Mary Hart retires after the completion of her term for almost thirty decades.

Mary Hart has expressed her view that to leave the show was not at all an easy decision for her to take but it gave her comfort to know that her legacy will pass on to Nancy O’Dell praising Nancy O’Dell for her immense talent recounting how they had spent many years working on each side of the celebrity battlefield and that she has full faith in Nancy O’ Dell. On the other hand Nancy O’Dell too expressed her happiness recounting the day on which Entertainment Tonight was first aired.
