Naan Mahan Alla To Hit Screens For Independence Day

July 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Following an incredible hat-trick success with Paruthiveeran, Aayirathil Oruvan and Paiyaa, actor Karthi will have his next film Naan Mahaan Alla hitting screens for the Independence Day weekend (August 13). According to the reports conveyed by the closer sources of Cloud Nine Productions, the producers are busy getting ready with different teasers to promote the film.
The film is produced by K. E. Gnyanavel Raja of Studio Green Productions and is directed by Susindran. The film’s music is already a big hit at audio stores and it has gradually raised everyone’s expectations. The on-screen chemistry between Karthi and Kajal Agarwal over songs and teasers kindled the interests of gossip mongers as they spread rumors about their relationship that in turn turned more spotlights on this film.
The film revolves around a happy-go-lucky chap Jeeva (played by Karthi), who has a picture perfect life with caring parents, affectionate sister and supporting friends to boast about. His life is brimmed with intense joy as a girl (Kajal Agarwal) enters his life. On the spur of the moment, his life faces abrupt transitions as the dark-crude side of Chennai unveils itself before him.
The emotions and perplexities are now on his playing cards and Jeeva is forced to handle the situations in a manner, which he would have never expected. On the pragmatic contexts, the film touches the increasing rate of crime in the city of Chennai.
