Oct 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tanya Tucker, who began singing officially at the age old thirteen with the legendary American Country singer Mill Telis, has come up with her latest album, intriguingly titled “My Turn”.

Tanya Tucker have been singing from the tender age of thirteen and her talent has never taken her off the bestselling charts ever since. She has won numerous awards for her music. She also won the Grammy in 1981 for the category of the best recording for children. “My Turn” is her seventeenth recorded album. She has also released three albums comprising her live performances. She had recently been tagged the new age Taylor Swift. Throughout this week, she is busy promoting the album. She appears in Imus In The Morning, Hannity and the Strategy Room and the Fox Business Network. She also performed live on Friday at BB Kings in New York as a promotional for the new album.

Tanya Tucker, in her latest album, has recorded her own version of the classic country songs that have been sung in the timeless voices of George Jones, Buck Owens and others. However, she just has not sung them all over again. She has given each song a powerful twist, and in her throaty, smoky yet melodious voice, they sound fantastic.

The timeless country classics, when sung by one of the greatest country singers ever, get a new dimension altogether. Tanya has sung the songs keeping the woman’s point of view in every situation the songs picture. She admits she had her late father in mind while conceptualizing the albums who had inspired her while she was just striking out.
