“My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ Part II Premieres On MTV

Oct 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The second part of “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ was premiered on MTV yesterday. This is the sequel of “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ that was released on October 23, 2009. Its premiere on MTV reinstates the fact that MTV is now coming out of its musical shell and wants to experiment with scripted programs in its channel.
The film stars Lauren McKnight and Julianna Guill, as the two protagonist teen characters, namely, Skye Rotter and Madison Penrose. They have played the same characters in the first part of the movie too. It also stars Chris Zylka and Alex Van. The movie has been directed by Jacob Gentry and Produced by Alexander Motlagh and Maggie Malina. The 84 minutes film has been written by Written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Alan Thomas. Where the first film has a budget of $1.5 million, the sequel has a bigger budget.
“My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ part two is revolves around the life of Skye Rotter, who is now on a mission to find her mom, who abandoned the teenager when she was not even a toddler. In her search for peace of mind, she finds her lost mom, who is now happily married to another man and has a child too. The sequel is not as violent as the first part, as Skye Rotter is no more a hardened murderer. She is now in a conflict of mind, where her conscience wants her to start a new life and find her own identity, while she is still tormented by her part, where her violent nature still haunts her. “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ was a super hit especially amongst the teenage girls. If its sequel comes up with success, there might be a third part too.
