‘My name is Chang & I’m not a foreigner’ (Movie Snippets)
July 23rd, 2011 - 8:27 pm ICT by IANS
New Delhi, July 23 (IANS) Singer-anchor-actor Meiyang Chang is tired of being considered a foreigner and finds it strange when people talk to him only in English.
“Don’t understand WHY people INSIST on talking to me in English when I’m speaking to them in Hindi. My name is Chang & I’m not a foreigner (sic),” he tweeted.
Chang, who became popular after featuring in singing reality show “Indian Idol 3″, is of Chinese descent but has lived in India all his life. He can speak fluent Hindi.
He has even featured in Bollywood film “Badmaash Company” and also hosts a lot of television shows.

No vacation for Big B
Even at 68, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t have time to take a well-deserved vacation — thanks to his commitment towards work.
After the release of “Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap”, Big B is busy promoting “Aarakshan” and doing mock rehearsals for “Kaun Banega Crorepati 5″ (KBC) which will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television.
“There is no time for vacation or holidays, ‘Aarakshan’ and ‘KBC’ keeping me busy for sometime. After these get over, I will think about it,” Big B told IANS.
“Aarakshan” releases Aug 12 and “KBC” goes on air Aug 15.

I don’t believe in audience research: Ekta Kapoor
Television czarina Ekta Kapoor doesn’t like to go for audience research and believes in creating new things and setting trends.
“I believe in a lot of conversation with youngsters. I don’t believe in research because research is all about past experiences. Tomorrow whatever work we do will become research. But how we did it will never be researched,” Ekta told IANS.
“I don’t believe in audience research as I believe I will be limiting myself…I rather do what I am doing without thinking what others think,” she added.
Ekta’s production house Balaji Telefilms has produced off-beat movies like “Love Sex aur Dhokha”, “Shor in the City” and “Ragini MMS”. She is now producing “The Dirty Picture”, inspired by late south Indian actress Silk Smitha’s life.
