London, Oct 25 (IANS) Lindsay Lohan accuses her father Michael of making up “excessive lies” about her to be in the limelight.
The actress is seething after Michael, who claims Lindsay is addicted to prescription drugs, publicly appealed for his daughter to seek medical help. He recently called on her mother Dina to “get on the same page” and force their troubled girl into rehab.

However, Lindsay insists her “sad” dad’s only motivation for speaking out is to keep himself in the spotlight.

“I’m so hurt that someone who calls himself my father needs to use the press to communicate with me. I have not spoken to my father, nor have I responded to his threatening and erratic messages over the last several months.

“It’s so sad that he needs to stay in the media spotlight by using my name and making up excessive lies. He should instead try to be a real father,” thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying.

Last week Michael admitted he wanted to kidnap Lindsay and whisk her off to an isolated location where he could “get her straight”.

It’s since been reported Lindsay has filed for a restraining order to keep her dad away - something Michael denies.
