Preety Bhalla and Anup Jalota’s new Krishan Bhajan album was released yesterday at ISKON.

Present at the event was singer Preety Bhalla and legendary gazal singer Anup Jalota who has also composed the music for this album. Singer Bhupinder Singh along with wife Mitali congratulated Anup Jalota and Preety Bhalla and offered their best wishes for the success of the album.

Both Preety Bhalla and Anup Jalota gladly posed for the cameras and shared with the media their wonderful experience while making the album.

Preety Bhalla also sang a song from the album in remembrance of lyricist, Late Pt. Girdhar Prasad Jaipurwala. Incidentally the lyrics for this album were the last that he had penned.

Also present at the event was Dhiren Raichura who is the musical arranger of the album, Jaswinder Singh, Arvinder Singh, Ram Shankar and other legends from the musical world.

The atmosphere at the place was filled with spirituality with the ragas of Shri Krishna in the melodious voices of the duo, creating a pleasant ambiance for all those present while Preety Bhalla and Anup Jalota chatted and spent quality time with their families and friends.

“Girdhar Ke Rang” as the album name truly goes with the compositions in it. The whole approach towards the album was that of a fusion. It has western arrangements without losing its traditionalisms.
