Music label sues Jared LetoAugust 16th, 2008 - 3:45 pm ICT by IANS
New York, Aug 16 (IANS) “Requiem for a Dream” star Jared Leto, who is also part of a band called 30 Seconds to Mars, is being sued by his record company for breach of contract. Virgin Records officials claim that the group had agreed in 1999 to make five records for the label but disbanded on July 4 after making just two albums, reports aol.com.
The former band members are being sued for over $30 million.
A representative for the band said that even though the group had been signed on for nine years and sold more than two million records, they have still not been paid.
