Munni Casts A Spell On The Mirchi Music Awards 2010

definitely is. Since the release of the film, the whole nation has been swept off its feet with the very famous ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain’ also struck a chord with both the young and the old.
In the recently held Mirchi Music Awards 2010, Dabangg bagged all the major awards. The Mirchi Music Awards 2010 powered by Karbonn Mobiles was held at the Bandra Kurla Complex on Thursday. Munni had clearly overshadowed Sheila on that evening. ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ got the awards for the Best Item Number and Best Song. Katrina’s belly dancing and navel show could not save the fate of Sheila.
The 2010 Mirchi Music Awards was hosted by the two most adorable singers of B-Town, Shaan and Sonu Nigam. We got a sneak peek into their superb sense of humor and not to mention their chemistry. They managed to pull off a Shah Rukh and Saif act on this musical evening. They made a dig at Akshay Kumar for his long list of flops last year, the ever rising price of onions and of course the Common Wealth Game fiasco.
There were performances by Usha Uthup, Bappi Lahiri and DJ Llyod. The cast of Patiala House, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Rishi Kapoor, was there to promote their film and add to the evening’s glam quotient. Priyanka Chopra had set the stage on fire with her performance.
The star of the evening was none other than Munni.
