Mumbai trilogy’s final lead fixed
January 5th, 2010 - 10:32 pm ICT by Sampurn WireNawazuddin has been chosen to play the third lead in Anurag Kashyap’s Mumbai trilogy. Who Nawazuddin? One of the two guys singing “Emotional Atyachaar “in Dev D. Nawazuddin has also done cameos in Firaq, Nandita Das’ directorial venture, New York and Black Friday.
Nawazuddin will be playing serial killer, Raman Raghav in the film. Raman had hammered a lot of people living off the streets to death in 1968. He was then caught and was found to be schizophrenic.
Nawazuddin, who has been struggling for a big break since 1996, is glad that this opportunity came by. He is a bit nervous about working in the movie as John Abraham and Aamir Khan star in the other two films but he’s researching on Raman Raghav now and readying himself for his role.
