Washington, October 7 (ANI): Pregnant Padma Lakshmi has revealed that she butters her growing belly to ease the itch.

The ‘Top Chef’ host spoke to champion Reebok’s line of Pink Ribbon products, that helps raise funds to battle breast cancer.

“One thing that happens when you’re pregnant is that as your stomach starts to stretch [and] it itches! So I have to keep my belly really lubricated,” People magazine quoted her as saying.

The model-turned-cookbook author continued: “Every morning, there’s a buttering ceremony after I get out of the shower. It’s really like basting a turkey with body butter.”

The 39-year-old added: “Before, my housekeeper was helping me because I can’t bend over to do my feet. Now my mom’s here and she’s been buttering up my tummy.” (ANI)
