London, July 31 (ANI): The identity of Brit actor Jude Law’s fourth child’s mother has been revealed to be aspiring actress and Florida model Samantha Burke, 24.

The model’s attorney named her as the mystery woman, who had a fling with Law, 36, last Christmas, during filming of Sherlock Holmes, his next movie release.

Burke has also added on her profile on the Babies ‘R’ Us website that she is expecting a girl on October 6, and will call her Sophia.

It was also revealed that Burke had hired a big-shot lawyer who was preparing an action to make sure that both mother and child were looked after financially for life.

“Jude is in for a seriously tough time,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“He’s accepted he’s the father and promised to do everything he can as a father. But the family in New York want it in writing.

“There is a high-powered lawyer in the girl’s family getting involved and Jude is terrified he will be cleaned out. Her family are also furious he’s had his way and disappeared back to Britain.

“The girl wants a large maintenance payment and financial costs, including a percentage of Jude’s future earnings, agreed in writing,” the source said.

A spokeswoman for the actor has confirmed the pregnancy, and said that he is ready to take responsibility for it.

“I can confirm that following a relationship last year, Jude Law has been advised by the birth mother he is to be the father of a child due in the autumn,” she said.

“He is no longer in a relationship with her but intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life,” she stated.

Lawyers for Burke, from Pensacola, Florida, but now living in New Jersey, said on July 30 that she has also confirmed the pregnancy.

“Ms Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr Law and that she has informed Mr Law that she is expecting his child,” the lawyers said.

“Since informing Mr Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive,” they added. (ANI)
