Mulligan, Stewart ‘battle it out’ for ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ role

Melbourne, April 6 (ANI): Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan will reportedly fight it out for the lead role in the forthcoming film ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.’
According to the Sun, David Fincher is set to give the Swedish thriller a Hollywood makeover - and now he’s looking to cast his leading lady.
And rumours are abuzz that Stewart and Carey Mulligan will go head-to-head for the role, which is said to be ‘edgy, sexy and demanding,’ reports the Daily Telegraph.
Fincher has previously directed ‘The Game’, ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Zodiac’.
He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Director for his 2008 film ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’. (ANI)
