Mulitipe Stars To Be Awarded At Hollywood Awards Gala Awards

October 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The 14th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards, collectively presented by Starz, will announce the Hollywood action icon as well as the Academy Award-nominee Sylvester Stallone will receive the “Hollywood Career Achievement Award at this event. Maverick, Hollywood veteran actor Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary will be presented with the “Hollywood Innovator Award,”. There’s more, director Tom Hooper will be honored with the coveted “Hollywood Director Award” at this truly star-studded Hollywood event.
Carlos de Abreu, the founder of the HAG or the Hollywood Awards Gala said that he along with his organization is privileged to honor and celebrate Sylvester Stallone’s remarkable talent and his shinning career as well as the fabulous work of Morgan Freeman and Lorie McCreary and their outstanding dedication to the Hollywood show-business. The Hollywood Awards Gala is also extremely proud to honor the talent of film-maker Tom Hooper, as portrayed in his latest film called “The King’s Speech”.
Other nominees that were previously announced include Hollywood greats like Sean Penn, selected for the “Humanitarian Award”; Robert Duvall for the “Actor Award” while Annette Bening for the “Actress Award”. Helena Bonham Carter will be honored in the “Supporting Actress Award”; as Sam Rockwell will be given the “Supporting Actor Award”. The “Breakthrough Actor Award” will go to Andrew Garfield and “Breakthrough Actress Award” to Mia Wasikowska. Danny Boyle and Chris Colson are nominated for the “Producer Award”; the “Screenwriter Award” goes to Aaron Sorkin. “Toy Story 3″ director Lee Unkrich is nominated for the “Animation Award” and Hans Zimmer for the “Film Composer Award”.
The names of Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall has been announced for the “Editor Award” and Wally Pfister will be handed the “Cinematographer Award”.
