Mukul Dev to play Kutchi in next (With Image)
April 4th, 2011 - 5:15 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 4 (IANS) After playing a drunkard Jat in “Yamla Pagla Deewana”, actor Mukul Dev wil now be seen as a Kutchi in his next film “Jal”. He will once again sport his long locks in the film.
“Jal”, directed by Girish Malik, is about how far people in the Kutch region go to preserve water.
Mukul, who drank like a fish in “Yamla Pagla Deewana”, is excited about the project.
“It is a fresh approach and the film is being shot in the beautiful locales of Kutch. It is good that I do not have to really change my looks from my last film as the rural Kutchis are known for their longish hair and beards,” the model-turned-actor said in a statement.
Thanks to the shooting, Mukul is also getting a chance to ride camels.
“A lot of camel chases are being shot and I regret not having taken the camel rides on Juhu beach while they were still legal,” he quipped.
