June 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The MTV Movie Awards night will not just be remembered for the crazy antics of Tom Cruise and the award sweep by ‘Twilight’ but also the glitz the glamor. The red carpet that boasted of the who’s who of the entertainment industry witnessed celebrities dressed to kill.

The most talked about young actor Kristin Stewart looked as flawless as ever in a D&G gold brocade and tweed dress. The 20 year old sat beside Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson and received the award for the Best Female Performance for the super-hit film.

Another young hottie who managed to grab eye balls was ‘Hills’ star Lo Bosworth. She sported low cut, pleated pumpkin-colored Diane von Furstenberg gown.

Christina Aguilera who was to have one of the most anticipated performances on the show graced the carpet in a couture black Versace that is not for the fashion’s weak hearted.

Her hair was worn in a Rihanna-meets-pin-up star manner. 25 year old Scarlett Johansson was at her graceful best in a green lace cocktail dress and peep toe pumps from D&G.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky Hilton arrived in pastel shades. Paris Hilton wore a cream colored satin Blumarine dress and got her picture taken with Snooki.

Katy Perry who recently topped the ‘World’s Hottest Women’ polls appeared with funky blue hair and a Zuhair Murad dress. ‘Hitch’ star Eva Mendez and bombshell Jessica Alba held the flag for the British designers. Eva Mendez’s off shoulder Stella McCartney dress managed to get the paparazzi begging for more.

The guys on the red carpet were not even close to the women who dazzled the audience. The common code seemed to be jeans and a blazer.

The only bling for the guys came from the hip-hop stars who walked in.
