cityOct 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popular MTV reality show “The City” has been canceled after its two seasons, the cast member and the narrator of the show Whitney Port announced the news to the media yesterday. “The City” is the first spin-off of the famous MTV reality show “The Hills” and it deals with the life of one of the show’s former cast member Whitney Port and her experiences as she moves to New York City to work for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. The media had been speculating about the cancellation of the show earlier this year, however, yesterday Whitney Port confirmed the news to the media.

Whitney Port told a reputed media source in one of her interviews that as of right now it does not look like that the channel will again film the show anymore. However, she also said that she is ready to accept anything in life as she believes, if door of opportunity closes at one point, it surely opens in another. Though the fans of the reality show will surely be disappointed at the cancellation of the series, Whitney Port, however, said that she would keep herself busy in some other things in life.

The MTV officials have not commented anything about the series but Whitney Port said that the channel has no plan to renew the show or move it to some other network. It seems that after “Jersey Shore” season 2 finale the channel has some other plans about its programs or may be it will launch a new program in the course of time. However, Whitney Port has not commented anything about her upcoming projects.
