MSNBC Anchor, David Shuster, Suspended Until Further Notice
April 10th, 2010 - 8:05 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkApril 10, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): MSNBC anchor David Shuster has been dismissed for an indefinite period from emerging on the air after network representatives realized that he had taped a pilot for CNN that was an evident infringement of his agreement.
Shuster, whose transaction with MSNBC was not due to run out until December, filmed a pilot with NPR’s Michel Martin for the rival network in the last few months. MSNBC administrators were disbelieving when they got acquainted with this reality from an account on Friday in the New York Observer. The shocking steps of Shuster activated an instantaneous scolding from MSNBC President, Phil Griffin. Shuster was exterminated from his usual noon PDT time slot on Friday.
Shuster has needled the network management in the past too. Earlier this year, he was commanded to bring to an end his tweeting after he utilized his Twitter account to berate a conservative campaigner, James O’Keefe. Shuster had also referred to a viewer as “stupid and lazy.” He, soon after, made an apology and has not placed any observation on the site since late January.
During the 2008 American presidential battle, the anchor was suspended for two weeks after he had declared that Chelsea Clinton was “sort of being pimped out” as she accelerated campaigning in favor of her mother.
Shuster, who enrolled himself in MSNBC in 2002 after his departure from Fox News, has performed the tasks of a reporter and newscaster at the network, of late in the 7 a.m. and noon PDT hours.
