‘Mr. Carey’ jokes don’t bother Nick Cannon
April 29th, 2010 - 6:30 pm ICT by ANINew York, April 29(ANI): Nick Cannon, who is married to singer Mariah Carey, doesn’t mind being called ‘Mr.Carey’.
The 29-year-old actor, who married the beauty, 40, said that the jokes didn’t bother him.
“It doesn’t bother me at all. I love [the jokes], I welcome it. It’s fun … You take it with a grain of salt,” the New York Daily News quoted him as telling UsMagazine.com.
He added: “She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it. Considering everything, I was like, ‘Hey, it doesn’t matter.”
The couple, who had renewed vows last year, plan to remarry again this weekend.
Cannon said: “I have to do it every single year … if you were married to Mariah Carey, you’d want to marry her every year too!” he said. “I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real.” (ANI)
