It’s not just the locations and the kind of theme that are going to be different, but Padmashree Kamal Haasan’s mere way of handling this project seems to be very unique. Aye! it’s all about his upcoming film “Manmadhan Ambu’ that will start rolling from next week in European Countries. Addressing the media channels at a press meet that was held recently, the actor mentioned that all the actors had rehearsed together nearly for several weeks.
What makes the rehearsals so important for Kamal Haasan was revealed by the actor himself as he said, “None of the stage plays are carried out without any rehearsals and they keep practicing every day for perfection. When this happens to be the situation with the so-called stage plays that are produced patently with few Lakhs, then we should just imagine how it should be with the films that are churned out with Crores…”
Kamal Haasan thanked all his co-stars of this film including Madhavan (busy with more Bollywood projects), Trisha, Sangeetha and other actors, who kept on rehearsing at his office.
“Manmadhan Ambu’ was earlier titled as “Yaavarum Kelir’ and is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies. Followed by the grand success of “Avai Shanmughi’, “Thenali’, “Panchathanthiram’ and “Dasavatharam’, K.S. Ravikumar and Kamal Haasan have come together. Madhavan, who had shared the screen space with Kamal Haasan in “Anbe Sivam’, is back in Kollywood donning another lead role.
The highlighting part of this film is that the major portion will be shot at the grand and loftiest “Mediterranean Cruise’ for 15days.
Since, the entire team is confident over performing the shots with perfection, due to constant rehearsals, Kamal Haasan has assured that the film’s shooting will be completed within three months and plans are to release “Manmadhan Ambu’ for Diwali.
Devi Sri Prasad has scored music for the song for which Kamal Haasan has penned lyrics for a couple of melodies. All the songs have been completed with Kamal Haasan and Trisha crooning a song together with kids. Writer Gynani’s son Manush, once an associate of Ravi K Chandran makes his debut as cinematographer. K.S. Ravikumar will handle the direction as Kamal Hassan himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues.
