Movie Preview: Kattradhu KalavuJanuary 23rd, 2010 - 6:26 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
Though his debut film Alibaba wasn’t a great hit at box office, actor Krishna gained more appreciations for his promising performance. Now, the young actor is gearing up for the release of his next film Kattradhu Kalavu. The film is produced by his father Pattiyal Sekhar, who earlier churned out Krishna’s Alibaba as well.
One of the renowned ad-filmmaker Balaji makes his debut directorial with this film and Chennai 600028 fame Vijayalakshmi stars opposite Krishna in female lead. VMC Haneefa, Manobala, Santhana Bharathi and Kumaravel have performed vital roles in this film while choreographer Kalyan takes on the baddie role.
Krishna will be spotted as a defrauder who uses his trickeries to exploit his victims while Vijayalakshmi has been offered to enact the role of a stewardess. Krishna himself admits that he has performed the speculative stunts without any dupes.
Producer Sekhar is so confident that Kattradhu Kalavu will be a sure-footed winner at box office as director Balaji has an engrossing screenplay with lots of twists and turns. Paul J has scored music while Kalyan (who performs baddie role) has choreographed the songs. Kasi Viswanathan handles editing and Kiran has erected some grand sets.
Well for Vijayalakshmi, who hasn’t won any laurels so far strongly believes that Kattradhu Kalavu will be a great milestone in her career.
Much prior to the film’s release, couple of songs– Kattradhu Kalava and Indha Vaanam Indha Bhoomi have already topped the charts.
Producer Sekhar has planned to release the film by third week of February.
