Motley Crue Frontman Vince Neil Jailed in Vegas for DUI

June 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The lead singer of the rock band ‘Motley Crue’ was arrested today (Monday) in Los Vega Nevada on DUI charges and is currently being held in a Clark County jail, although he is expected to make bail at any time.

Barbara Morgan, who is a police officer with the Los Vegas Police has confirmed the arrest was made to ‘CBS’ news. He was taken into custody in the very early morning, and his bail is said to be $2000. It is not the first time the rock star has been in trouble for driving under the influence.

Vince Neil was arrested in 1984 and charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI after the car which he was driving crashed into another car. Drummer for Hanoi Rocks, Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley was a passenger in Neil’s car that night and was killed, and two passengers from the car which Neil crashed into were seriously injured.

Vince Neil was then arrested and sentenced to 30 days in jail, five years probation, 200 hours of community service, and ordered to pay 2.6 million dollars restitution to the victims of the crash.
