London, May 4 (IANS) Singer Leona Lewis says she is too focused on her career to want to have children in the near future.
The singer has been dating long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
“I’ll hold off having kids. For sure. I think forty-something is a good age. But maybe a little old to have your first one, but there’s no rush,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
The pop star is determined to continue to speak about animal rights.
“I really believe in standing up for what you believe in. So many people in entertainment are just in it for the money and that’s just not what I’m about. I’m a very feisty and passionate person,” she added.
