Los Angeles, Mar 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Morgan Freeman, who has gifted Hollywood many outstanding performances with sheer acting talents, seems to have been struggling with his left hand which still remains paralyzed. Morgan Freeman’s left hand had been badly injured following his car crash which he had encountered a couple of years back in Mississippi. The actor laments that although he managed to undergo an immediate surgery restoring his nerves that was badly affected in the accident; the left hand still swells in pain. That is exactly why he keeps it hidden under a glove to seek relief from swelling, that is also very painful. The Oscar-winning veteran was admitted in the hospital after the accident that left him with a string of injuries that included a broken arm, a broken elbow and extreme damage to his shoulders upon the impact of the accident. An onlooker reported that he had witnessed Morgan Freeman’s car toppling over a couple of times as it went off the road.

Morgan Freeman had to be rescued from his wrecked car by using a “Jaws of life”, which happens to be a hydraulic rescue tool. After that, the actor was fled off to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Morgan Freeman’s left hand has been injured since then and he has been struggling to move it.

The 72 year veteran has essayed many a characters in his movie with utmost diligence in a host of several different movies where he has won many a critical appreciations. Morgan Freeman won an Oscar for Million Dollar Baby in the year 2005. Morgan Freeman has also been nominated for his performances in movies like “Driving Miss Daisy”, “The Shawshank Redemption” and ” Invictus”.
