Morgan Freeman fronts hurrincane awareness campaign

The actor is co-founder and spokesperson for The Great Hurricane Blowout, which aims to encourage American and Caribbean citizens to prepare for hurricane season traditionally from June to November, reports hollywood.com.
He’s urging people to take on tips from the new ‘Ready, Set, Plant’ appeal on how best to survive the devastating winds.
“Hurricanes have the power to destroy, but we have the power to prepare. The Great Hurricane Blowout will provide your family with the tools to be ready in the face of an emergency,” he said.
