This TV series of the 80s was about aliens who were engaged in a conspiracy to takeover Earth. Baccarin has been cast in the role of the alien leader which was played by Jane Badler in the original series. News has it that Alan Tudyk has also been cast in the show. Tudyk played the role of Wash in “Firefly.” though there has been no formal announcement as yet it is being guessed that ABC will pick up “V.”

Baccarin is a Brazilian actress of Italian background. Her claim to fame was her role as Inara Serra in the “Firefly” series. Though her role in this sci-fi series was a short lived yet Baccarin was able to create a favorable impression in the minds of the audience.
