More regional films dubbed in Tamil

April 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):With Tamil Nadu, turning to be the successful hub for various regional films, many filmmakers and producers have started dubbing the films in Tamil now. It’s worth mentioning that Ram Gopal Varma’s production “Phoonk-2′ has witnessed a grand opening with Tamil version titled “Bhommai-2′. The film had hit screens yesterday and is receiving positive feedbacks from audiences since Kollywood filmmakers aren’t fond of making horror films.

Similarly, there is couple of other regional films ready to hit screens shortly in Tamil. Prithviraj-Priyamani starrer Malayalam film “Puthiya Mugam’ is getting dubbed in Tamil with the same title. Since, the film has list of actors, who are familiar in Tamil film industry, the producer strongly believe that the film will work at best in Tamil.

Telugu film “Vinayakudu’ happened to be a top-drawer at box office and is now getting dubbed in Tamil as “Vinayaga’. It’s worth mentioning that Vivek Oberoi’s “Prince’ was released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on the same day.
