Moore’s hit ‘Far From Heaven’ now a musical
January 10th, 2011 - 12:20 am ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 9 (IANS) Hollywood actress Julianne Moore’s hit 2002 movie “Far From Heaven” has been turned into a musical and will hit the stage later this year.Tony Award winner and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Richard Greenberg, Scott Frankel and Michael Korie have been commissioned to revamp the Todd Haynes film, which earned Moore an Oscar nomination, reports contactmusic.com.
The film chronicled the story of a 1950s housewife, who discovers her husband is gay.
Moore starred opposite Dennis Quaid, Dennis Haysbert and Patricia Clarkson in the film.
