Monyetta Shaw And Ne-Yo Expecting Their First Baby

June 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Grammy winning singer and rapper Ne-Yo and her girlfriend Monyetta Shaw has a reason to celebrate now as they are expecting their first child early next year. The R&B singer in his recent interview told that he is “very, very excited” about his first child. The couple dated for quite a long time and the addition of the newest member in their family is something they can rejoice for.
“Baby By Me” singer confirmed the news of Monyetta Shaw’s pregnancy and said that he is 30 and his first child is on the way and he is very very excited about it. The excited star flew down to Atlanta for Monyetta Shaw’s ultrasound.
However, the couple is yet to know the gender of the baby as during the ultrasound due to curled up positioning of the baby the gender could not be determined. No-Yo is excited to become a dad because in the past his former girlfriend gave birth to a child, Chimere, but later the truth was revealed that he was not the boy’s actual biological father which eventually led to their break up.
While speaking to the media, the celebrity singer expressed his delight and termed their yet-to-be-born child as ‘New Year’s baby”. The “Let Me Love You” singer also said that he had been thinking about having kids lately and he wanted a girl and a boy. However, the singer accepts that he is really in a good place and the couple is expecting their baby in January 2011.
