New York, April 22 (ANI): American actress Mo’Nique is quite upset over the way her brother’s interview played out at Oprah Winfrey’s show, it has emerged.

The Precious star is reportedly unhappy with Oprah over the show that featured her brother Gerald Imes, who had molested her as a kid.

Imes told Oprah on the show that he molested Mo’Nique for a year or two, starting when he was 13 and Mo’Nique was 7 or 8 years old.

“I abused and betrayed the trust of another sibling, my sister, my blood sister, I’m sorry, Mo’Nique. I’m sorry,” Imes said on the show.

He added: “I can only hope by coming forth today … that somewhere down the line … we can come back together as siblings.”

However, the interview has increased tensions between Mo’Nique and her family.

“She doesn’t know if she will ever speak to them again,” the New York Post quoted a source, as telling RadarOnline.com.

“She was particularly upset that Gerald lied to Oprah that he molested her while she was sleeping because she was wide awake and scared of him,” the insider added. (ANI)
