Los Angeles, Mar 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an interview with Barbara Walters, actress Mo’Nique spoke very candidly about her relationship with her husband – Sidney Hicks. She said that she trusts him so much, that they have an open marriage. They have known each other for almost a quarter of a century now, and are totally secure by this knowledge. She also said that if her husband committed adultery, then also she wouldn’t leave him. She loves and trusts him so much that, she said that even if he committed adultery numerous times, then also she would stand by his side, as a dutiful wife.

“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’ Monique said in an interview to Barbara Walters. “What if it’s 20 times?” she said. “So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know whom they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.”

Though she clarified that she hasn’t committed adultery any time in her marriage. She also spoke on the infamous issue of her unshaven legs. She says that she shaved once, but since it was such a bad experience for her, that she decided not to shave any more. She also added that her husband is also comfortable with them, so she is absolutely at peace with it.
