Mar 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Academy award nominee Mo’Nique has stated in a recent interview that she is involved in an open marriage with her business manager husband Sidney Hicks. The “Precious” star managed to create quite a buzz after she revealed that she would not mind even if her husband was involved in a physical relationship with any other woman.

The much acclaimed actress stated in the 29th and the final ‘Barbara Walters Oscars Special’ that she had known her husband for too long to ever consider getting separated from him even if he is unfaithful to her. At the same time, the interview witnessed the Oscar nominee describing her marriage as open, by which she meant that they never need to keep secrets from each other and is capable of sharing every thought as well as fantasies with her spouse. Moreover, the 42 year old much loved comedy artist also expressed that although she had never been unfaithful with her husband, she would not go for divorce even if she discovered him indulging in infidelity. On being asked by Barbara Walters whether she would maintain the same stand even if she found out that her spouse had been unfaithful in numerous occasions, Mo’Nique shot back and emphasized that even if multiple flings surfaced, it would not propel her to call it quits.

Meanwhile, the renowned actress has been nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her brilliant portrayal of an abusive mother in the movie “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”, for which she has already won multiple award.
